i think fashion in Singapore is beginning to have the nice feel to it...The feeling of buying a garment with satisfaction. Its beginning to have the wealthy type of feeling when one shops. However, there are still some shops whereby you don't get that high end feeling when purchasing. Some shops are still quite trashy while others plain messy.
Singapore designers still don't make such a deep impact in our Singaporean lives.. Thats how i feel. Instead, its the taste of Singaporeans adapting from Hongkong and korean fashion-personally sourced from these countries that makes us different. European fashion is still quite hard to adapt i think because its more about branding...we can't possibly copy a look of a model ..I guess that is why they remain the top.
I think Singapore's future strength would be selection instead of making things from scratch...what do you think? hm.....
